To submit to a film festival can cost anywhere from $50 to over $100. This is often something that is NOT budgeted for originally when planning for a film, as there are just so many other things to cover in order to get the film MADE. Every donation here will go directly towards those film festival submissions, allowing us to put in the extra investment to get our film SEEN and recognized for all of the effort that has gone in. Sound is vital to our story! For a musical film set in a recording studio, the story we tell sonically will be paramount and who better to help us than the incredible Dan Stringer.Dan's versatile expertise has attracted collaborations with groundbreaking artists from Ms. Lauryn Hill to the X Ambassadors, spanning genres from hip-hop to alternative rock to country. His film credits include contributions to critically acclaimed films such as the Oscar-winning Whiplash and the Emmy-nominated documentary What Happened, Miss Simone? as well as short films that have screened at festivals including Cannes, TIFF and Sundance.

We continue to shape our story via the edit - as they say, "the movie is made in the editing room." Pacing, the way story and music fit together, new song re-writes to support our story and it's impact...this is arguably the most time-consuming and resource-sucking part of filmmaking. We have some incredible people putting their editing touch on this film with credits from Sundance to Spotify. Our goal is a movie that falls at about 15 minutes, the film festival sweet spot and a length that we believe best holds an audience's attention and interest. Our film exists in two distinct worlds - the original 1970s front office and the high-tech (and often thrilling atmosphere) of the recording studio room itself: two different color pallets representing not only its history but its continued relevancy as a modern day Hit Factory. Conway Recording Studios is a beautiful setting generously donated to us by the owner, who believes in the story we tell and wants to let people in to the magical world of music's behind the scenes.... Color grading helps us do the incredible location justice and the contrast of the two distinct worlds that separate the employees from the stars plays a crucial part of our story.....
